Call for Proposals

CATESOL invites you to be a part of the CATESOL 2026 State Conference to be held at Santiago Canyon College on November 5 - 7 in Orange, California.

We are currently soliciting submissions for our fully in-person conference with the theme of Rising Together: Embracing the Future with Humanity. Sessions and workshops will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

CATESOL members and nonmembers are invited to submit proposal presentations. We expect many submissions and unfortunately cannot accept them all. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to review the rubric on the following pages when developing your program abstract and summary.

Proposals are due June 30, 2026.

Please note that CATESOL is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization. Accepted presenters will be responsible for their own transportation, hotel, food, and conference registration. Discounted rates are available for presenters and students. Many schools and organizations may also have funding available for professional development. Please see the CATESOL Educational Foundation for award and grant opportunities.

For questions regarding the proposal system, contact Kristi Reyes, the Program Chair, at catesolprogram@gmail.com.

Note: If you are proposing a commercial/publisher session, Interest-Group or Level session, or CATESOL Board session, please submit your proposal to the Non-adjudicated Proposals portal at https://tinyurl.com/catesol26nonadjudicated
