Advocacy Mission, Goals and Aims

CATESOL's mission is to promote excellence in education for English language learners and a high quality professional environment for their teachers. In order to fulfill this mission, CATESOL engages in advocacy. Several of CATESOL's seven goals are directly tied to advocacy and form the basis for the positions taken by the organization.
