Submitting Articles to the Proceedings
Who can submit to the "Proceedings"?
- Anybody who presented at the State Conference in San Diego.
- Either individuals or groups of co-presenter(s)
What content is appropriate?

Submissions should convey the crux of the presentation translated to an article
e.g., the essential guidelines that you shared in your demonstration . . .
or, a summary of your presentation . . .
or, insights that emerged from participation in your workshop . . . etc.
Why should I submit an article?
- Share your insights and ideas with others who were unable to attend your session
- Contribute to the profession through your article
- Demonstrate your professional development, to future or current employer
When is the deadline for submissions?
- All final submissions must be made by August 20, 2007
- If you desire mentoring, please submit by July 1, 2007
How can I submit my article?
- Choose the content you wish to write about
- Choose whether you will submit alone or with co-presenter(s)
- Write the article—up to 7 pages, MS Word or PDF format ONLY, including title page
- Edit the article according to APA guidelines, especially title page, headings, spacing, margins, graphics, and references (if applicable)
- Prepare an abstract—50 word limit
- Complete the submission form
